For this project, I worked on making three of the same object. This requires a level of craft and repeatability. One of the objects was sold at the Society For Contemporary Craft Auction in Pittsburgh. One of the objects was shipped to my mom in Hawaii. My mom always sends me care packages from home and it is always a surprise because she never tells me when she sends them. I decided to return the gesture and send it without telling her. She was delighted by the gift and keeps it at her office. The last object I kept for myself.

This centerpiece is meant to celebrate the lightness of the air plant and evoke a soothing presence within the space.
